Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Mercy Ridge Church for Mrs. Nancy Kay Brown, age 72, of Richton, who died on November 30, 2023.  Bro. Brad Nicholson will officiate the service with burial to follow at Cochran Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Hayden McSwain, Landon Williams, Toby Kittrell, Dave Anderson, Justin Brewer, Ashton McLain, Gerald Brown and Tony Creel.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Monteal Brewer; grandchildren, Latisha McSwain and Andrew Kelly; and a sister, Ruby Henderson.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Ray Brown of Richton; daughters, Dena Kay Dement of Springfield, LA, and Montressa Williams of Richton; brother, Cecil Aubrey (Zabrina) Brewer of Richton; and sisters, Jean Shepard and Shirley Lambert, both of Richton.

Kay was a member of the Mercy Ridge Church in Richton.  She was employed as a cook at Tims in Richton for over 13 years.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Mercy Ridge Church.
