Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mrs. Nancy Bounds, age 68, of Moselle who passed from this life on September 27, 2023 at her residence.  Pallbearers will be Josh Tisdale, Tim Massey, Allen Williamson, Jeff Walters and Sam Carbonario.

Nancy was born on October 2, 1954 to Paul J. and Bernadette L. Petrolia. She worked as a CNA. She loved butterflies, hummingbirds and people. She enjoyed building birdhouses.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jerald, Richard, Troy and Wanda.

She is survived by her husband, William Bounds, Sr. of Moselle; sons, Audie Sweat and William R. (Tina) Bounds, Jr. both of Moselle; daughter, Dawn (Charles) Jordan of Moselle; granddaughters, Megan (Malachi) Crabtree of Oloh and Summer Jordan of Moselle; grandson, William Paul (Jade) Bounds of Moselle; great-granddaughter, Haven Rain Crabtree of Oloh; brother, Melvin Petrolia of Hammond, LA; sister, Jaynell Petrolia of Huntsville, AL; brother-in-law, L. J. Cambree of Laplace, LA; godson, Kelsey Tamplain of Laplace, LA; nieces, Joy Petrolia of Hammond, LA and Tia Petrolia of Metairie, LA and nephew, Troy Petrolia of Metairie, LA.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 29, 2023, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
