A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mrs. Yvonne Rowell, age 82, of Ellisville. Mrs. Rowell passed from this life on October 4, 2026 in Laurel.

She was a beloved member of Welcome Home Jesus Name Church in Ovett and a dedicated healthcare professional who devoted 34 years of service to South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel before retiring as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

She was also a longtime member of the LPN Association and proudly served as its president, as well as holding numerous other offices within the organization. Her commitment to her profession and to those she cared for was an important part of her life and legacy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Rowell; her sons, Roy Alan Rowell, James William Rowell, and Clint Anthony Rowell; her parents, John and Mary Bullock Adcock; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Lee (Karen) Rowell of Ellisville; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Rita (Tom) Hickson of Sandersville.

Her life was marked by faith, devotion to family, and a lifetime of service to others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
