Services for Mrs. Lois Freeman, age 86, of Richton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Jones & Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Freeman passed from this life on October 24, 2026 at her residence.  Bro. Wayne Hebert and Bro. Blake McDaniel will officiate the service and burial will follow in Jerry Freeman Family Cemetery in Sand Hill.  Serving as pallbearers will be Chatom Manning, Makon Freeman, Hayden Cooley, Cade Cooley, Cameron Freeman, and Aubrey Freeman.

Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by her grandson, Chancey Cooley; granddaughter, Abby Cooley, parents, Emory "Snook"  and Lucille Browder; brother, Danny Browder; sister-in-law, Leah Browder; sister, Louise Hudson; brother-in-law, W.L. Hudson; and nephew, Christopher Browder.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry L. Freeman; children, Marcia (Donnis) Manning of Richton, Myrna (Eddie) Palmer of Purvis, Candice (Tim) Cooley of Richton, Robin (Trevor) Cooley of New Augusta, Ricky (Dora) Freeman of Richton, and Coby (Catrena) Freeman of Richton; 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
