Graveside services for Mrs. Missie Myrick, age 81, of Richton will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Mulberry Cemetery.  Mrs. Myrick passed from this life on August 9, 2024 in Waynesboro, Mississippi.  Bro. Justin Stinson will officiate the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mycal Mills, Billy Brewer, Mitchell Brewer, Ray Henderson, Henry Mills, Jr., Bobby Fillyaw, Billy Fillyaw, and Charlie Martin.

Mrs. Myrick was a retired seamstress with Midsouth Manufacturing after 25 years of service.  She was also retired from Perry County General Hospital where she was a dietary cook for 19 years.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Myrick; parents, Dave and Rose A. Lee Brewer, brothers, Cecil Brewer, Carlis Brewer, Huey Brewer, Stover Brewer, Emmitt Brewer, and Doyle Brewer; and sisters, Lois Brewer, Lottie Choate, and Eva Henderson.

She is survived by her daughter, Tanya (Ray) Mills of Richton; granddaughter, Heather Mills of Richton; and grandson, Mycal Mills of Richton.
