A visitation for Mr. Mike Neyman, age 74, of Hattiesburg, will be held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.  Mr. Neyman passed from this life on December 12, 2023 at his residence.  Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens in Rainsville, Alabama at a later date.

Mike worked in the medical field for over 40 years and was instrumental in the development of open heart surgery at Forrest General Hospital.  He loved to hunt and fish and was actively involved with sports as his children were growing up.  He adored his children and grandchildren as well as his work family at Forrest General Hospital.

Mike was preceded in death by his son, Michael Todd Neyman; parents, Hoyte and Doris Neyman; and sister, Paula Neyman.

He is survived by his son, Jon (Amanda) Neyman of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren, Irie Neyman and Indie Neyman; and former wife, Mary Beth Neyman of Fort Payne, AL.
