Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mr. Michael W. "Mike" Welborn, age 70, of Ellisville. Mr. Welborn passed away on July 1, 2025, at his residence. Bro. Evans Freeman will officiate with the burial to follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Koko Manning, Peyten Jones, Adam Craft, Josh Walters, Mitchell Collier and Joseph Stephens.

Michael was born on October 28, 1954, in Laurel, MS. He worked as a shop technician for 43 years primarily with Drillco in Laurel. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on his farm tending to his cows.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Welborn; parents, J.D.  and Dimple Carter Welborn and brother, Mitch Welborn.

Mr. Welborn is survived by his children, Mickey (Crystal) Welborn of Ovett, David (Elizabeth) Welborn of Collins and Chris (Brandi) Welborn of Seminary; grandchildren, Hannah (Koko) Manning, Hayleigh (Peyten) Jones, Mallory Welborn, Michael Welborn III, Allie (Adam) Craft, Kaylee Welborn, Gaiden Welborn, Dylan Welborn, Brody Welborn and Blakely Welborn; five great-grandchildren and brother, Bo (JoAnne) Welborn.

Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
