It is with a sad heart that we announce the passing of Michael "Stubby" Leisure, age 67, at home quietly on October 30, 2025.

He was a loving and devoted husband and soulmate to Michelle Leisure (Diletti).

He is survived by his son, Jason (Catherine) Leisure; sweet granddaughter, Catalina Leisure; mother of Jason, Vera Leisure; brother, Bill (Wendy) Wells; and his sister, Dina Workman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Avery Franklin and Carol Wells; brother, Robert Franklin Wells; sister, Deborah Janine Wells Cannon; and brother-in-law, Randall Workman.

Michael served his country with proud honor in the United States Army and U.S. Marshalls.  He will be truly missed and loved by all family and friends who knew Stubby.

There will be a private graveside burial on November 15, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors project.
