Bullock Cemetery-Seminary

11:00 a.m.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary for Mr. Michael Carter, age 74, of Hattiesburg. Mr. Carter passed from this life on March 3, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Chuck Busby will officiate with the burial to follow.

Michael was born on July 7, 1950 in Hattiesburg, MS to John Byron and Norma Jean Rawls Carter. He was an owner of a Chinese restaurant for 44 years. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Asulee "Coco" Carter; father, John B. Carter; brother, John Mark Carter; grandmother, Maybell Rawls; grandfather, Dave Eugene Rawls; grandfather, John Otis Carter and grandmother, Darlene Carter.

He is survived by his mother, Norma King and a host of cousins.
