Services for Mr. Max Junior Brown, age 83, of Avera, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2025, at Mutual Rights Congregational Methodist Church.  Mr. Brown passed from this life on July 28. 2025 in Biloxi, Mississippi.  Bro. Nick Chatham and Bro. Barry Sullivan will officiate the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Wendell Brown, Dustin Brown, Roman Brown, Henry Bryant, Bo Sullivan, and Neil Irby, Jr.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Errol Foret, Jerry Roberts, and Donald Ray Roberts.

Mr. Brown was a proud United States Air Force veteran and a former member of Highway 45 Baptist Church in Eight Mile, Alabama.  He lived a life marked by hard work, service, and dedication to his family and community.  He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force before embarking on a successful civilian career. He worked for 34 years as a salesman with Barber's Dairy in Mobile, Alabama, where he was known for his strong work ethic and friendly spirit. After retiring from Barber's, he continued his professional journey as a flight line supervisor with UPS in Mobile for seven years.  A man of quiet strength and unwavering commitment, Mr. Brown will be remembered for his integrity, humility, and the many lives he touched along the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Mary Brown; daughter, Gayla Brown; siblings, Sonny Brown, Johnny Brown, Grover Brown, Helen Barber, and Leroy Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Brown of Avera; children, Wendell (Phyllis) Brown of Bay Minette, AL and Anedra Brown of Avera; grandchildren, Tim (Courtney) Garner of Saraland, AL, Nick Garner of Rockford, IL, Dustin Brown of Avera, and Roman Brown of Bay Minette, AL; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, George (Marie) Brown and Tommy (Velda) Brown, both of Coden, AL; sisters, Mattie (Jimmy) Wise of Pensacola, FL, Barbara Hickman of Wiggins, and Caffie (Errol) Foret of Coden, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
