Services for Mr. Max "Buddy" Brewer, age 83, of Richton, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Union Grove Assembly of God.  Mr. Brewer passed from this life on August 27, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital.  Bro. Manuel Henderson, Bro. Chris Adcock, Bro. Chance Walley, Bro. Justin Stinson, and Bro. Douglas Manning will officiate the service with burial to follow in Union Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Errin Brewer, Nathan Brewer, Gregory Stinson, Glen Stinson, Reggie Manning, James Brewer, and Koko Manning as alternate.

Mr. Brewer was a member of Union Grove Assembly of God.  He was a retired logger and was also retired from Greene County, where he was a maintenance supervisor.

Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his parents, Mathie and Gladys Brewer; siblings, Wayne Brewer, Maxine Johnson, Frances Ezell, and Ruby Nell Brewer.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Brewer of Richton; daughter, Carla (Douglas) Manning of Quitman; grandchildren, Hannah Lauren Manning and Jessica Grace Manning, both of Quitman; and sister, Betty Stinson of Richton.
