Services will be held for Mrs. Mavis Creel Fisher, age 67, of Ovett at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, in the Victory Heights United Pentecostal Church of Ovett. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 11, 2023 at her residence. Bro. Joshua Benson and Bro. Colon Rowell will officiate with burial to follow in the Eastside Baptist Church Cemetery in Richton. Serving as pallbearers will be Will Jarell, Russell Creel, John Smith, Ronnie Smith, John Creel, Elvin Creel with Bro. Colon Rowell as alternate.

Mrs. Fisher was born on August 19, 1955 to Rance and Lucille Graham. She was a member of Victory Heights United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by her spouse, Ebbie Fisher of Ovett; daughter, Evelyn (Jason) Walley of Richton; sons, Eugene (Pamela) Creel of Natchez and Curtis (Heather) Creel of Waynesboro; brother, Herman (Margie) Graham of Ovett; sister, Helen (Martin) Thompson Seminary; grandchildren, Jacob Walley, Ethan Creel, Bella Creel, Dezarae (Victor) Gonzoles, Whitney Salvadore, Destiny Clifton and Eugene David Creel and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023 at Victory Heights United Pentecostal Church.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Richton is in charge of services.
