Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton, for Mrs. Mary F. Gordon, age 76, of Richton.  Mrs. Gordon passed from this life on October 23, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.  Bro. Phillip Erkhart and Bro. Chris Barrow will officiate the service with burial to follow in Henderson Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Allan Small, Reuben Small, Chance Shiflett, Harley Lee, Ronald Lee, Dale Carnahan, Kenneth Bradley, and Will Sylvester.

Mrs. Gordon worked for several years at Richton Bank and Trust before becoming a homemaker.  She was of a member of Piave Baptist Church.  She loved to crochet, read books, and most especially spoiling her grandchildren.

Mrs. Gordon was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Gordon; mother, Nancy Pittman; father, Ira Pittman; brothers, Jack Pittman, George Pittman, Harry Pittman, and James Pittman; and great grandsons, Hunter Cobb and Walker Cobb.

She is survived by her children, Zandra (Leon) Small of Beaumont and Nelson Gordon of Richton; grandchildren, Rachel (Chance) Shiflett, Rebekah Cobb, and Reuben Small; and great grandchild, Aleah Cobb.
