Services for Mrs. Mary "Sis" Farmer, age 84, of Richton, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Mrs. Farmer passed from this life on April 24, 2024 in Lucedale, Mississippi.  Bro. Herbert Wiggers and Bro. David Walley will officiate the service and burial will follow in Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery in the Hintonville Community.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Cooley, Ronnie Campbell, Justin Edwards, Randy Strickland, Roddy Hinton, and Randall Hinton.

Sis really loved listening to gospel music.  She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Farmer; son, Jackie Farmer; parents, Johnny and Lennie Lee Shepherd; brothers, Douglas Shepherd and James Shepherd; and nephews, Chad Shepherd and Jimbo Shepherd.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Mitchell) Hinton of Richton; brother, Carl Shepherd of Runnelstown; sister-in-law, Kathleen Shepherd of Petal; and several nieces and nephews.
