Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in the Seminary Baptist Church of Hintonville for Mrs. Mary Sue Cochran, age 71, of Richton. Mrs. Cochran passed away at her residence on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Bro. Zach Cochran will officiate with the burial to follow in the Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Anthony "Bubba" Hinton, Chad Guinn, Cody Herring, Donald Bryant, Brad Herring, Mike Cochran, Marty Herring and Edgar Bryant as the alternate.

Mary Sue was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling to the mountains. She was an active member of Seminary Baptist Church. She worked as an LPN for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Martha Lee Hinton and sister, Aldie (Mack) Byrd.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Cochran of Richton; daughter, Melissa Cochran of Richton; brothers, Jimmy (Shirley) Hinton and Roddy (Becky) Hinton both of Richton; sister-in-law, Mary Touchstone of Richton and brother-in-law, Noal (Laura) Cochran of Richton and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.
