Services for Mrs. Martha Jean Rylee, age 81, of Richton will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton. Mrs. Rylee passed from this life on August 29, 2024.  Bro. Evans Freeman will officiate the service and burial will follow in Odom Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Whiddon, Rylee Brewer, Brandon Rylee, Brian Rylee, Jeffery Ellis, Derrick Rylee with Fisher Lindsey and Eddie Lambert as alternates.

Mrs. Rylee attended Hickory Grove Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, S.S. and Vera McGill; and sister Ruby McGill.

She is survived by her sons, Robert "Rooster" (Alison) Rylee, Russell Rylee, and Bill (Amie) Rylee, all of Richton; daughters, Ann (Eddie Dean) Lambert of Moselle and Marcia Lambert of Richton; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Mary) McGill of Petal and Murphy (Brenda) McGill of Poplarville; sister, Brenda (Donald) Revette of Richton; and her puppy, Lady Bug.
