Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Evans, age 82, of Leakesville will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2025 at First Assembly of God Cemetery in Leakesville.  Mrs. Evans passed from this life on April 15, 2025 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lela Ruth Craft Young; one sister, Martha Sarah Young Creel; and two nephews, Hollis Lavon "Kim" Creel, Jr. and Harland Roy Creel.

She is survived by one brother, Earnest Harland Young of Petal, MS; two nieces, Ethel Lorene Creel Myers (Dale) of the Dixie Community and Martha Lynn Creel Vance (Bobby) of Panama City Beach, FL; three nephews, Mark Anthony Young of Sumrall, MS, Michael L.Young (Lisa) of Petal, MS, and Arthur Percy "Arty" Creel of Petal, MS; three great-nephews, Chris Myers, Brent Patrick, and Michael Vance; two great-nieces, Lori Myers and Ashley Chisesi; and three great-great-nieces and four great-great-nephews.
