Mr. Mark Travis O'Steen, age 65, of Sumrall passed from this life on July 15, 2026 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Mr. O'steen was born in Tennessee on July 9, 1961.  He was a faithful member of Rawls Springs Baptist Church, where his faith was an important part of his life. A skilled carpenter by trade, he took great pride in his work and was known for his craftsmanship, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.  When he wasn't working, Mr. O'Steen enjoyed riding motorcycles and treasured the freedom and adventure they brought. Above all, he loved his family and valued the time he spent with those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Vivian O'Steen; and brothers, Sandy O'Steen and Kelsie O'Steen.

He is survived by his children, Kevin (Jennifer) O'Steen of Hattiesburg, Marcus (Heather) O'Steen of Raleigh, NC, Amy O'Steen of Nashville, TN, and Travis (Rebecca) O'Steen of Petal; grandchildren, Lily O'Steen of Hattiesburg and Ava Jayne O'Steen of Petal; and brother, Kirby O'Steen of Sumrall.
