Services for Mr. Marion Graham, age 96, of Ovett, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Bro. Charles Mayo and Bro. Chris Cooper will officiate the service and interment will follow in Brown Cemetery in Ovett.  Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Cole Graham, Toby Byrd, Riley Graham; great grandson, Austin Holifield; and nephews, Terry Graham, Mike Graham.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his great grandson, Henley Graham and great-great grandson, Kolton Blake. Serving as alternates will be Mike Jones and Rex Musgrove.

Marion Graham was born in Jones County, Mississippi on October 12, 1928 on the brink of the Great Depression. He grew up knowing the value of hard work and kept that mindset throughout his life. He married the love of his life, Della Cochran, on December 13, 1947 and they were together for 63 years until her death in 2011. Marion was a simple man who loved his family. He never met a stranger and formed many lasting friendships throughout his 96 years. He had a love for music and could be found on Sunday mornings playing his guitar and singing gospel music at Landmark Baptist Church in Ovett. He loved "good old preaching", as he called it, and he was always quick to tell you how good God had been to him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Molly Graham; wife, Della Graham; four brothers, three sisters; a son-in-law; and infant grandson.

Mr. Graham is survived by his daughters, Betty Holifield of Ovett and Connie Musgrove (Rex) of Vancleave; sons, Jeff Graham (Donna) of Ovett and Tim Graham (Joye) of Strengthford; brother, Howard Graham ( Mary) of Ovett; sister, Ethel Martin of Colorado; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Mr. Graham's family would like to thank Perry County Nursing Center and Compassus Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to him. Also many thanks to Jones and Son Funeral Home for always going above and beyond.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.
