Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Richton United Methodist Church, for Ms. Margarette Cassandra "Sandra" Abbott, age 70, of Richton.  Ms. Abbott passed from this life on October 4, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.  Bro. Brandon Halford and Bro. Toby Lofton will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Colman Grinnell, Dominic Hall, Collins Smith, Anthony Smith, Jeff Atwood, Dakota Atwood, Chris Whisenhunt, and Gabe Hall.

Ms. Abbott was a member of the Richton United Methodist Church.

Ms. Abbott was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Denise Abbott Dearman; parents, Julius Scott and Anna Lois Carey Valentine; and brother, Gerald Valentine.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Allyson (Colman) Grinnell of Petal; and sisters, Judy Valentine and Mary Beth (Bob) Smith.
