Services for Mrs. Margaret Posey, age 96, of Richton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Posey passed from this life on November 11, 2023.  Bro. Aaron Bolling will officiate the service and burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Posey was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Runnelstown.  She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her son, Maurice Posey, Jr.; and parents, William and Ida May Bell.

She is survived by her husband of 80 years, Maurice Posey of Runnelstown; daughter, Ann Woodward of Culpeper, VA; grandchildren, Gary (Kerstin) Cornwell of Runnelstown, Sandi Butler of Culpeper, VA, Jay (Mikal) Woodward of Culpeper, VA, Dana Posey of Virginia Beach, VA and Angela Damon of Virginia Beach, VA; 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
