Graveside services for Mrs. Margaret Butler, age 83, of Moselle will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Moselle Memorial Gardens in Moselle.  Bro. Keith Thompson will officiate the service.  Mrs. Butler passed from this life on January 12, 2024 at Bedford Care Center in Hattiesburg.

Margaret Odessa Butler was born and raised in Panama City, Florida.  She married Bruce Butler in 1962 and the couple raised two children, Cindy and Greg. Margaret was a homemaker and caregiver.  She enjoyed cooking and baking specialty cakes.  Margaret loved caring for animals and always had a house pet.  She was known for nurturing sick or injured animals back to health.  Margaret and Bruce have been long time members of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church.  Margaret was known as "Nana", by her three grandchildren, Morgan, Micah and Vaeda.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2019 , Bruce Butler; parents, John and Rosa Jeter and brother, Charles Jeter.

She is survived by her son, Gregory (Andrea) Butler of Moselle, MS; daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Butler of Ellisville, MS; grandchildren, Morgan (Tyler) Fall, Vaeda Mann, and Micah Butler; great grandchildren, Branson Fall and Landry Fall and sister-in-law, Myrie Jeter.
