Services for Mrs. Mabel Hinton Rich, age 92, of Richton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Rich passed from this life on December 25, 2023 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Bro. Devon Byrd will officiate the service and burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Malone, Ammon Herring, Ray Davis, Devon Byrd, Larry Wilson, and Ed Hearn.

Mrs. Rich served the Town of Richton for over 23 years as the town clerk.

Mrs. Rich was preceded in death by her parents, Evans and Anna Belle Hinton; and brothers, Sonny Hinton and Elliot "Buddy" Hinton.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ken Rich of Richton; and daughter Juliann Rich of Hattiesburg.
