Services for Mr. M B Kitchens, age 80, of Richton, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mr. Kitchens passed from this life on August 5, 2024 at his residence.  Bro. Charles Mayo will officiate the service and burial will follow in Brown Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Mayo, Payton Mayo, Kane Kitchens, Brock Pierson, Nick Kitchens, and Dalton Kitchens.

Mr. Kitchens was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Kitchens; father, Johnny Kitchens; mother, Gertie Kitchens; grandson, Mitchell Kitchens; great grandsons, Noah Kitchens and Krymsin Kitchens; sister, Sue Ella Trest; and brothers, Louie Kitchens, Rupo Kitchens, and Print Kitchens.

He is survived by his sons, James (Katie) Kitchens of Richton, John (Michelle) Kitchens of Ovett, Arthur (Contessia) Kitchens of Richton, and Michael (Heather) Kitchens of Richton; grandchildren, Nicholas (Janna) Kitchens, Charla (Corey) Malone, Jessika (Garth) Breland, Brooke (Bud) Heathcock, Tyler Kitchens, Kane Kitchens, Dalton (Lindsey) Kitchens, Brock Pierson, and Kace Pierson; great grandchildren, Ally and Karter Nicholson, Wyatt Breland, Khylin Harris, Sylas and Jaxysin Kitchens, Castyn and Camden Malone, Paidhyn, Lynnleigh, Brinslee, Knox, and Finn Heathcock, Daughtry  Kitchens, Graison Shows; sister, Lena (Charles) Mayo of Richton; special friend and caregiver, Charlotte Walley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
