Graveside services for Mrs. Loretta Shelby, age 57, of Petal, will be held at 9:00 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Terrell Cemetery in New Augusta.  Mrs. Shelby passed from this life on August 13, 2025 at her residence.  Family and friends will officiate and conduct the service.  Serving as pallbearers will be Muril Walley, Eileen Walley, Bradley Goodman, Marty Cochran, Matthew Cochran, Dustin McLeod, Chris Henderson, and Wade Shows.

Mrs. Shelby was preceded in death by her father, J.C. Curry; mother, Linda Guy; stepfather, Gavin Guy; and sons, Nathan Curry and David Shelby.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Shelby of Petal; daughters, Karen (Randy) Clark of Hattiesburg, Trinity Shelby of Petal, and Chloe Kirby of Petal; sons, James (Adriana) Curry of Beaumont, Benji Shelby, Connor Shelby, and Darren Shelby, all of Petal; 11 grandchildren; sister, Angel (Bud) Eaton of Seminary; and brothers, Donald (Cheryl) Curry and George (Donna) Curry, both of Alabama.
