Services for Mrs. Lisa Hanly-Walley, age 71, of Richton, will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Jones & Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Hanly-Walley passed from this life on April 27, 2026 in Leakesville.  Bro. Bruce Alan Walley will officiate the service.

Mrs. Hanly-Walley, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, lived a life filled with compassion and dedication to others. She worked as a registered nurse for over 20 years at Forrest General Hospital, where she cared for countless patients with skill and kindness.  In her free time, Mrs. Hanly-Walley enjoyed bowling and watching her favorite television show, Bones. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, creating lasting memories with those she loved most.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Fatboy" Walley; parents, Jack and Mary Hanly; brothers, John Michael Hanly and Leland Walley; sister, Lynn Marie Bates; and adoptive parents, Vernon and Maurice Walley.

She is survived by her children, Bryan Walley and Kathy (Kevin) Russell, both of Piave; grandchildren, Austin "A.J." (Caylin) Sparks of Beaumont and Rylee (Dereck) King of Piave; great-grandchildren, Aubrie Sparks, Autumn Sparks, and Victoria Ann King; and siblings, Jennifer "Jenny" (Joe) Watson, Sharron Kaye (Gerald) Powe, and Bo Walley.
