Graveside Services for Lisa Annette Davis, 49 of Seminary, MS will be Thursday 11:30 a.m. September 8, 2022 at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Moselle, MS.  Ms Davis attended school in Garland, TX before moving from TX to complete her Senior Year at Seminary High School.

Lisa passed away unexpectedly in her sleep in the late evening of September 5, 2022. She faced challenges in her early years with profound hearing loss, but learned sign language to overcome - followed by the onset of disability at the end of her senior year that left her as one of God's special needs children. She was a brave fighter and overcame a fierce battle with cancer to which she suffered daily with the side effects of aggressive treatment up until her death. She was resilient tackling every battle including being displaced last Easter when a tornado destroyed the family home where her loving mother took care of her daily. Her simplicity and child-like mind made her unique and loving. She was passionate about her cats (and all cats), love for music, butterflies, video games, journaling and time with family.

She was preceded in death by her father Van Alden Davis.  She is survived by her mother Sybil Crosby Davis of Hattiesburg, MS, her brother Rev. Wayne A. Davis of Dallas, TX her Great Uncle Raford Mooney of Seminary, MS, Uncle Michael Davis of HI, Aunts June and Penny Davis of HI, Uncles Keith (Janet) Crosby of Rowlett, TX, and John (Glorya) Puckett of Coleman, TX and many cousins.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday September 8, 2022, at the Jones & Son Funeral Home in Moselle, MS.
