Services for Mrs. Linda Nell Smith, age 65, of Ellisville, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Barrontown Independent Baptist Church in Petal.  Mrs. Smith passed from this life on September 29, 2025 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.  Bro. Willis Jarrells will officiate the service and burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Ellisville.  Serving as pallbearers will be Adam Odom, Michael Ryal, Eddie Williams, Allen Lovett, Tyler Young, Greg Hilton, Riley McGill, and Dennis Dunn.

Mrs. Smith attended Barrontown Independent Baptist Church for over 20 years where she was a "church mother".  She worked as a private sitter for 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Vernell Burns; and siblings, Robert Wayne Williams, Edward Ray Williams, Kenneth Williams, Shirley Hilton, Annette Bullock, Elaine Bass, Jean Gipson, and Bobbie Garrard.

She is survived by her husband, John Manuel Smith III of Ellisville; and a host of nieces and nephews.
