5:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 2, 2023 at West Black Creek Baptist Church in Sumrall for Mr. Lawson Bond, age 26, of Sumrall, who passed from this life on May 30, 2023.  Elder Yancy Magee, Elder Bill Morris and Elder Joe Lott will officiate the service with burial to follow at West Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Lee, Harlan Davis, Josh Pullens, Dustin Thompson, Stephen Valliere, Levi Bond, James Bond and Josh Hager.  Honorary pallbearers are Justin Crosby, Matthew Eavenson and Elder Brent King.

Lawson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elder Howard Curtis Nobles, Sr. and Erma Lee Nobles; and grandfather, Joel L. Bond, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Cheree Bond of Sumrall; sister, Nena (Colton) Holder of Hattiesburg; nieces, Kallie and Kymber Holder; grandmother, Agatha Bond of Wiggins; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Lawson was a member of the West Black Creek Baptist Church of Sumrall.  He was a motorman with Patterson-UTI Drilling Co.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2023 at West Black Creek Baptist Church.
