Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Richton for Mr. Lars Orby Wright, Jr., age 82, of Lumberton who passed from this life on April 17, 2025.

Bro. Josh Dunn and Dr. Keith Davis will officiate the service with burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Billy Andrews, Jonathan Roseberry, Roger Vick, Randy Browning, Dr. Keith Davis and Jr. Graham.

Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Brenda Lucille Wright of Lumberton; brother, Randy (Sharon) Wright of Petal; niece, Susan (Bob) Collier of Medena, TX; nephews, Kevin Grantham, of Moselle, Nicholas (Angel) Wright of Lumberton, Randy (Wesley) Wright, Jr., of Evansville, IN, and Ryan Wright of Petal; great-niece, Lucy Wright of Evansville, IN; great-nephew, Russell (Kristin) King of Houston, TX and a host of other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lars and Rosa Lee Wright and sister, Joyce Grantham.

Mr. Wright was a member of the First Baptist Church of Purvis and retired owner/operator of Wright Technology. He is a veteran of the National Guard and in his younger years he was a member of the Jaycees, and Quail Unlimited.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22 at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Richton.
