A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church in New Augusta, for Rev. Larry Lott, age 77, of Beaumont.  Rev. Lott passed from this life on July 18, 2022 at his residence.  Bro. Steven Howell will officiate the service with burial to follow in Fairhope Cemetery.

Rev. Lott was preceded in death by his parents, Abner Chester and Doris Brown Lott; daughter, Tammy Lott; brother, Jerry Lott; and sister, Dixie Lorene Hinton.

He is survived by his wife, Nadene Lott of Beaumont; daughter, Angie Brown of Phoenix, AZ; granddaughter, Madison Brown of Phoenix, AZ; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Rev. Lott was the retired owner of Larry Lott Logging in Beaumont.  He delivered wood to many woodyards, but in 1983 he delivered the first load of logs to the Leaf River Mill in New Augusta.  He was the pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in New Augusta for over 7 years.  During his ministry he was very fortunate to baptize his granddaughter, a niece, and a nephew.
