Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Union Baptist Church for Mr. L.A. Cooley, age 85, of Beaumont, who passed away at Merit Health Wesley on December 30, 2019.

Mr. Cooley was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Cooley; sons, Michael Cooley, Ricky Cooley; parents, Lonnie and Annie Cooley; sisters, Louise Faulkner, Willie Cooley; brothers, George Cooley, Roy Cooley.  He is survived by his son, Keith Cooley of Beaumont; granddaughters, Skylar (Dustin) Nicholson of Petal, Shannon Cooley of Beaumont; grandson, Chance Cooley of Richton; sister, Velma Owens of Beaumont; brothers, Don Cooley of Leakesville, Calvin Cooley of TX; great-grandson, Cooper Nicholson; adopted granddaughters, Raquel Jones, Samantha Melvin, Roxanne Rich.

Mr. Cooley was a member of Masonic Lodge in Beaumont, MS and a member of Union Baptist Church.  He enjoyed playing his guitar, hunting and fishing.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Union Baptist Church in Beaumont
