Services for Kimberly Ann "Kim" Buchanan will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2024 at Jones Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg. Kim passed peacefully in the early morning hours on Thursday, June 21, 2024, surrounding by her family, after succumbing to Bulbar ALS, at Asbury Hospice House.  Bro. Jerry Rawls will officiate the service and burial will follow in Community Baptist Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Broome, Brandon Jackson, Eric Moree, Charlie Powell, Al Pursley, and Eddie Wilberding.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jared Farve and Tyler Kinstle.

Kim was born to Vander Buchanan and Doris Moree Moffett on July 14, 1966. She lived her entire life of 57 years around the Oloh, Rocky Branch Community.  She spent most of her working life doing what she enjoyed the most, sitting and caring for the elderly.

She was preceded in death by her father; paternal grandparents, Esco Buchanan and Virgie Buchanan Cook; and maternal grandparents, Emerson and Pearl Moree.

She is survived by her son, Tyler Jackson (Courtney) of Purvis; daughters, Hayle Farve (Jared) and Hannah Kinstle (Tyler), both of the Oloh Community; grandchildren, Brandon Jackson, Bradley Jackson, Harleigh Jackson, Weston Farve, Cooper Farve, Stetson Farve, Luke Kinstle, and the expectant arrival of baby girl Kinstle; mother, Doris Moffett of Oloh; sister, Vickie Wilberding (Eddie) of Oloh; stepbrothers, Kevin Moffett and David Moffett; and stepsister, Randy Lemburg. Kim will also be sadly missed by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends accumulated throughout her life.
