Services for Ms. Kelli Shannon, age 51, of Richton, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 1, 2023, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Ms. Shannon passed from this life on April 27, 2023 at her residence.  Rev. Amy Roller will officiate the service with burial to follow in Sunset Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Shannon Scroggins, Mitchell Walley, Leonard Walley, Tony Creel, Brandon Bell, and Kyle McAlpin.

Ms. Shannon enjoyed being outdoors and gardening, she had a true green thumb.  She truly loved animals and early in life, loved horses and riding in horse shows.  She was a member of the Richton United Methodist Church.

Ms. Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Aubrey Shannon; and brother, Michael Clay Shannon.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Shannon of Richton; sister, Tranni (Hal) Hodges of Oak Grove; nieces, Lauren (Brandon) Bell and Lindsey (Kyle) McAlpine, both of Sumrall; great nieces and nephews, Parker, Nora Grace, Cole, and Kailey Ann; aunt, Marilyn Waters; uncle, Floyd (Deborah) Shannon; and cousins, Clay Hunter Waters, Matthew Waters, Katie, Becky Shannon, and Nathan Shannon.
