Services for Mrs. Katie M. Morgan, age 51, of Ovett will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Mrs. Morgan passed from this life on September 14, 2023 at her residence.  Bro. Steve Brewer and Bro. Hunter Brewer will officiate the service and burial will follow in Union Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Chase Morgan, Nathan Morgan, Robert Russum, Eric Holifield, Caleb Sumrall, Zeke Morgan, with J.R. Bates and Michael Brewer as alternates.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be William Morgan and Tre Morgan.

Mrs. Morgan was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who loved to cook and take care of her family.  She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Elton and Florence Alene Brewer.

She is survived by her husband, Howard E. Morgan of Ovett; sons, Howard Lee Morgan, William Chase Morgan, and Emmanuel Nathan Morgan, all of Ovett; and granddaughter, Emory Ann Morgan of Ovett.
