A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025, for Mrs. Kathy Jo Allday, age 71, of Ovett, MS in The Bible Baptist Church of Petal, 728 South Main Street, Petal, MS 39465. Mrs. Allday went to her heavenly home March 6 2025, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Bro. Jimmy Bryant and Bro. John Smith will officiate the service.

Kathy was a dedicated member of Bible Baptist Church of Petal, MS. She worked as a dental hygienist for 25 years. Kathy was lovingly known as "Booma" by her family. She will be remembered for her giving spirit and thoughtfulness to those in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Judy King; sister, Darlyne Stewart and brother-in-law, Bob Burns.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kirby Allday of Ovett; daughters, Keri (Jamie) Craven and Kasey Allday both of Ovett; son, Klay (Ali) Allday of Ovett; granddaughters, Michala (Cole) Ward of Petal and Halle Craven of Ovett; grandsons, Kane (Jaycee) Allday and Kaden Allday both of Ovett; great-grandson, Westin Ward of Petal, great-granddaughter, Winsley Ward of Petal; sisters, Beth (Roy) Johnson of Petal and Tammy (Tommy) Stokes of Sante Fe, TN; brother-in-law, Alan Stewart of Milton, FL and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family extends a heartfelt gratitude for nurse Stephanie and Heart of Hospice and for all the love shown Kathy during her illness.
