Services for Mrs. Katherine Joyce Turner, age 78, of Leakesville will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Pilgrim's Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Leakesville.  Mrs. Turner passed from this life on December 27, 2024 in Pensacola, Florida.  Bro. Terry Smith will officiate the service and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Hillman, Brandon Welford, Eric Welford, Abraham Hamilton, Dirk Turner, and Scotty Elmore.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be William Lake, Tucker Zehner, and Dusty Turner.

Mrs. Turner enjoyed music, her family, and her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin, Sr. and Maxine Turner; son, Tommie Hillman; and brother, Delton Turner.

She is survived by her daughter, Tianey Welford of Leakesville; son, Jeffrey Hillman of Leakesville; grandchildren, Daniel Hillman, Joshua (Meia) Hillman, Eric (Erica) Welford, Brandon (Brianna) Welford, Tucker (Lauren) Zehner, and Anna (Bryce) Richards; great grandchildren, Kasen, Brighton, Baelyn, Corbin, Jameson, Rosalie-Ann, Eden Grace, Gage, Owen, Jocelyn, and Dylan; sister, Audrey McDuffie of Fairhope, AL; brother, Irvin Lee "Dirken" Turner, Jr. of Leakesville; sister-in-law, Cindy Turner; a host of nieces and nephews; and special daughter, Stephany Lake.
