Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at New Fellowship Baptist Church of Seminary for Mrs. Katherine Ann Guthrie, age 76, of Moselle. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on June 21, 2024. Bro. George Moore and Bro. Neil Breland will officiate with burial to follow in the New Fellowship Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Guthrie, Taylor Guthrie, Sam Guthrie, Earl Guthrie, Tommy Sena, and John Bullock.

Mrs. Guthrie worked as a rural mail carrier with the United States Postal Service for 12 years. She also worked at Shirley's in Ellisville for many years. She loved to paint, sew and keep her boys straight. She was a founding member of New Fellowship Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Guthrie, Sr.; and parents, Owen and Thelma Downing.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Rebecca) Guthrie, Jr. of Hattiesburg, Douglas (Leannia) Guthrie of Hattiesburg, and Andy (Debra) Guthrie of Moselle; grandchildren, April (Steven) Graves, Taylor (Caroline) Guthrie, Carlie Guthrie, Ashlee Guthrie, Alexis (John) Bullock, London Guthrie, Anthony Guthrie, Andrew (Emily) Guthrie, and Sarah Guthrie; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ellen Downing Guthrie of Moselle.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
