Services for Ms. Kat Taylor, age 20, of Ovett, will be held at  10 :30 a.m., Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Jones and Son Chapel in Richton.  Ms. Taylor passed from this life on October 31, 2023.  Broady Taylor and Bro. Jerry Rowley, Jr. will officiate the service and burial will follow in Mt. Olive Methodist Church Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Ashton Taylor, Broady Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Patrick Welborn, Josh Taylor, and Ronnie Ainsworth.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Conner Ainsworth, Wille Lee Hinton, Chris Clark, Cody Breland, and Trey Clifton.

Ms. Taylor enjoyed loving and spending time with her family.  She loved to sing and loving on those babies.  She also loved her dog, Sadie!

Ms. Taylor was preceded in death by her grandfather, Johnny Joe Taylor; grandparents, Billy Wayne and Patricia Bunch; nephew, Joseph Taylor; cousin, Maverick Clark; and step-father, David Clifton.

She is survived by her mother, Regina (William "Billy") Sheets of Richton; father, Jonathan Taylor of Ovett; brothers, Patrick (Tiffany) Welborn of Ovett, Broady (Emily) Taylor of Ovett, Ashton (Shelby) Taylor of Ovett, and Ethan Taylor of Petal; sister, Victoria Taylor of Ovett; grandmother, Eva Taylor of Ovett; uncles, Jeremy (Melissa) Taylor and Joshua (Stacey) Taylor, both of Ovett; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
