Services for Mr. Johnny Jolly Crosby, Sr., age 90, of Moselle, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, July 28, 2025 at Jones and Son Chapel in Moselle.  Mr. Crosby passed from this life on July 24, 2025 in Laurel, Mississippi.  Bro. Dennis Polk will officiate the service and burial will follow in Crosby Cemetery in Ellisville.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mr. Stephen Crosby, Mr. Zachary Crosby, Mr. Joshua Crosby, Mr. Michael Crosby, Rev. Jonathan Tullos, and Rev. Brandon Halford.

Mr. Crosby was a longtime member of Crossroads Church in Moselle, where he found fellowship and spiritual strength. He was a dedicated and hardworking individual, known in the community as the self-employed owner of Crosby Backhoe Services. For over 25 years, he took pride in his work, earning a reputation for reliability and integrity in every project he undertook.

Mr. Crosby was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann "Pat" Crosby; sons, William Edward Crosby and Rev. Johnny Jolly Crosby, Jr.; granddaughter, Angel Crosby; and 2 great granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Crosby of Moselle; son, Dr. Samuel (Abby) Crosby of Hattiesburg; 7 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Gene Crosby of Mendenhall; daughters-in-law, Connie Crosby and Joanna Crosby, both of Moselle; and a host of other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crosby Cemetery Fund in care of Zachary Crosby, 20 Country Club Drive, Laurel, MS  39440.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.  Monday, July 28, 2025 at the funeral home.
