Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont, for Mr. John C. Sylvester, Jr., age 66, of Beaumont who passed away on August 25, 2023.  Bro. Herbert Wiggers and Bro. Delton Parker will officiate the service with burial to follow in Sylvester Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Kruier Brownlee, Brett Brownlee, Blaine Brownlee, Chandler Williams, Cameron Williams and Dakota Hayes.

Mr. Sylvester was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Hillman Sylvester; and father, J. C. Sylvester, Sr.

He is survived by his son, Zack Sylvester; mother, Myrna Sylvester; sister, Wiggie (Robert) Brownlee; and grandchildren, Chandler Williams and Cameron Williams, all of Beaumont.

Mr. Sylvester was a member of the Fairhope Baptist Church of Beaumont.  He was the office and project manager of the Glenn Crane & Rigging Company in their Hattiesburg office.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Beaumont.
