Graveside services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Union Cemetery of Ellisville for Mr. John David Pulliam, Sr., age 64, of Seminary. He passed from this life on June 25, 2024 at Forrest General Hospital. Bro. Joey Smith and Bro. Cliff Lazenby will officiate with the burial to follow. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathan Terry, David Pulliam, Jr., Christopher Poole, Christion Mapp, J.T. Pulliam, Robert Pulliam and James Graham.

Mr. Pulliam worked for many years as a mobile home mover and he loved to hunt and fish. Above all, he enjoyed nature and all God's creations. He was affectionally known as "Poppie" to everyone and claimed them all as family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lee Pulliam, Sr.; mother, Annie Belle Willis; stepfather, Jim (paw paw) Willis; grandchildren, Trinity Dashay Calvert and James Lee Graham; great-grandson, Johnathan Lee Parker, Jr., brother, John Robert David Pulliam and sisters, Linda Sue Pulliam and Patricia Ann Odom.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Terry Pulliam, who he has been with for 50 years and would have been married for 43 years on October 9, 2024; sons, John Walter Terry (Tannice), John David Pulliam, Jr. (Jenifer), James Lee Graham ( Kayla) and James Holland Graham; daughters, Veda Marie Poole (Chris) and Rebecca Ann Pulliam (Brett); grandchildren, Nathan Lee Terry (Brianna), Jalin Rose Terry, Johnathan Isaiah Terry, Caiden Walter Terry, Gracelin Louise "Lou" Terry, Jace Donovan Edwards, Lacie Amanda Mapp (Christian), Christopher Shane Poole, Jr. (Shaiyena), Angel Marie Poole, Miranda Mackinzie Pulliam (Cam), John Thomas David "J.T." Pulliam, Kambrie Denay Pulliam, Eli D. Pulliam, Sydney Nicole Pulliam, Reagan Leighann Pulliam, Makayla Laniece Newman, Arianna "Toot" Calvert, Masey Graham, Kaitlyn Graham; great-grandchildren, Bell Deshay Poole, Alyanah Marie Parker, Macy Nicole Mapp, Kingsley Draco Mapp, Cason Blackmon Poole, Christopher Ryan "Ry Ry" Poole, A'Morah Grace "Newman"; brothers, Thomas Lee "Buddy" Pulliam, Jr. (Jearldine) and Robert Mitchell Pulliam and sister, Melissa Ann Jones.

Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Jones and Son Funeral Home in Moselle.
