Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, in the Jones and Son Chapel of Moselle for Mrs. Joan Knight, age 80, of Moselle. Mrs. Knight went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 1, 2023. Bro. Lamar Harrison will officiate with burial to follow in the Soule's Chapel Cemetery of Moselle. Pallbearers will be Bill Smith, Will Perkins, Eric Graham, Daniel Flowers, Drew Young and Steve Wohlgemuth. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnathon Smith, Steve Morgan, Michael Morgan and Richard Morgan.

Joan was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Church of God in Moselle. She worked for many years in retail sales.  She dearly loved fishing, shopping and spending time with her grand babies. She had a natural talent for creating flower arrangements and could cook like no other.

Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ollie Mae Smith; sister, Bonnie Joyce Morgan and brother, Jerry Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Kelton Knight of Moselle; children, Mark (Angel) Young of Collins, Jill Smith of Seminary; David (Heather) Young of Collins and Chris (Courtney) Knight of Moselle; grandchildren, Britney Graham, Drew Young, Johnathon Smith, Hollie Perkins, Luke Young, Selah Young, Christian Knight, Creedence Knight, Kelsey Branch and Dalton Taylor; great-grandchildren, Hayes, Haven, Hallie, Hollis, Scarlett, Sterling, Easton, Crosby, Brooks, Paxton and Sadie; mother-in-law, Robbie Dell Knight and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle.
