Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2025. for Mr. Jimmy L. Walters.  Bro. Ricky Trull and Bro. David Aultman will officiate the service and burial will follow at Moselle Memorial Gardens.  Serving as pallbearers will be Daryl Walters, Michael Eddy, Ethan Walters, Chris Walters, Cody Wade and Lee Hollis.  Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jeffery McRainey, Korbin Eddy and Konner Eddy.

Mr. Jimmy Lee Walters, age 79, passed away at his residence on August 28, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1946, and lived a full life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and hard work.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Brenda Walters of Moselle; daughters, Deborah (Eddie) Wade of Seminary and Melissa Jones of Moselle; and son, Daryl (Tammie) Walters of Eastabuchie. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Elaine Crabtree of Petal; seven grandchildren, Amber Lawrence, Brandy Bergeron, Michael Eddy, Tiffany Farmer, Cody Wade, Dakota Davis, and Ethan Walters; and thirteen great-grandchildren who brought him endless joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Audie Walters; son-in-law, Chad Jones; three brothers, Garland Walters, Lonnie Walters, and Donnie Walters; and his sister, Janette Hathorn.

Jimmy spent most of his life as a long-haul truck driver, a profession that suited his hardworking nature and strong sense of responsibility. In his free time, he found great peace and enjoyment in hunting, fishing, and studying his Bible. A man of deep faith, he was a charter member of Unity Baptist Church, where he found community and spiritual strength.

More than anything, Jimmy treasured the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose quiet strength and unwavering faith left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
