Memorial services for Mr. Jimmy Lee Douglas, Sr., age 76, of Richton will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Buck Creek Cemetery.  Mr. Douglas passed from this life on April 3, 2025 in Leakesville, Mississippi.

Mr. Douglas was a retired mechanic after many years of service.  He was also a veteran of the United States National Guard, where he was stationed at Camp Shelby for 6 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Melvin and Edna Douglas; granddaughter, Katie Conway; and nephew, Terry Byrd.

He is survived by his children, Tracy (Scott) Evans of Ovett, Trena Leigh (David) Conway of Stevensville, MT, and Jamie (Jennifer) Douglas of Richton; grandchildren, Zachary (Kristin) Williams of Monticello, Hallie Conway of Stevensville, MT, Jayce Douglas of Richton, Colby Douglas of Richton, and Conner Douglas of Richton; great grandchildren, Rex Williams and Boone Williams, both of Monticello; brothers, Larry (Mary) Douglas of Richton and Donny (Becky) Douglas of Runnelstown; and sisters, Betty (S.W.) Byrd of Richton and Pam Habighorst of Carrollton, VA.
