Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Lone Star Baptist Church for Mr. Jerry Rainey, age 80, of Ellisville. Mr. Rainey passed from this life Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at his residence. Bro. Brent Long and Bro. Trent Williamson will officiate with burial to follow in the Lone Star Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Davis, Mike Wade, Donnie Bryant, Steve Wade, Ty Coleman and Jake Boswell.

Jerry was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church in Ellisville. He retired from Ellisville State School as Director of Ground Maintenance after 25 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Rainey; parents, Rev. Stanley and Mary Rainey and brother-in-law, Jack Thompson.

Mr. Rainey is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Dan) Boswell and Robin (Jimbo) Coleman both of Ellisville; sons, Zachary Rainey (Ashley) of Louisianna and Sam Rainey (Hailey Bowman); 9 grandchildren;1 great-grandchild; brother, Tommy (Shannon) Rainey of Ellisville and sister, Judy Thompson of Moselle.

Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Lone Star Baptist Church.

Jones and Son Funeral Home of Moselle is in charge of the services.
