Mr. Jerry Mayeux, age 85, of Hattiesburg passed from this life on September 30, 2023.

Mr. Mayeux was born on July 19, 1938 in Marksville, Louisiana.  He gave environmental speeches and presentations as a volunteer, a job he really enjoyed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonies and Hilda Mayeux; daughter, Wendy Mayeux, parents-in-law, Herbert and Doris Constant; and brother-in-law, Jerry Constant.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Mayeux of Hattiesburg; sons, Christopher Mayeux of Hattiesburg and Mark (Debbie) Mayeux of Slidell, LA; daughter, Denise (Jose) Eguia of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Meyer of Slidell, LA, Morgan Eguia (Tyler Heath) of Hattiesburg, and Madison Eguia of Hattiesburg; great grandchildren, Braydn McKinley, Rhett Meyer, Reid Meyer, and Jack Heath; brothers, Lonies (Rose) Mayeux and Rodney Mayeux; sister-in-law, Pat Constant of Metarie, LA; nephew, Matthew Constant of Metarie, LA; and  several other nieces and nephews.
