A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Sanford for Mr. Jerry Glosson, age 75, of Seminary who passed from this life on December 11, 2022. Bro. Caleb McCord will officiate.

Mr. Glosson was a deacon for 42 years in the First Baptist Church of Sanford and was a Master Mason associated with the Sanford Lodge. He loved to fish and Little League Baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.O. and Maude Lee Glosson; daughters, Jennifer Pendleton and Kelly Jo Glosson and sister, Anita Carey.

He is survived by his wife, Melanie Glosson of Seminary; daughter, Julie (Erik Worrell) Glosson of Kingwood, TX; grandchildren, Christian (Brianna) Glosson of Seminary, Bryan (Maura) Pendleton of Seminary, Emily (Cole) Rogers of Collins, and Madeline Peden of Seminary; brother, Jimmy (Sandy) Glosson of Orange, TX and five great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Jones and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
