A memorial service will be held at a later date for Mr. Jerry Lee "Choctaw" Palmer, age 63, of Petal.  Mr. Palmer passed from this life on February 15, 2023 at the Perry County Nursing Center.

Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his best friend, Linda Kay Creel Palmer.

He is survived by his children, Jeremy Carl Palmer of Petal, Melissa Leeann Palmer of Pearl, and Cheyenne Palmer of Petal; grandchildren, Dakota Palmer, Noah Palmer, Jeremiah Palmer, Kaylee Nicole Hill, and Elissa Lynn Hill; and siblings, Charlene Covington and Christopher Buckley.
