Services for Mr. Jeremy Trest, age 43, of Neely, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Neely Baptist Church.  Bro. Ricky Holder will officiate the service and burial will follow in the Trest Family Cemetery.  Jeremy passed from this life on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, in Mobile, Alabama.  Serving as pallbearers will be Brennan Taylor, Ethan Trest, Corbin Trest, Derick Turner, Will Trest, and Logan Trest.

Jeremy was a master welder who spent much of his career traveling across the country working in construction. He was widely respected for his talent and craftsmanship, but even more so for the way he cared deeply for his work family. His dedication, integrity, and camaraderie left a lasting impression on those who worked alongside him.  Outside of work, Jeremy had a passion for live music and loved going to concerts whenever he had the chance. He also had a deep appreciation for good food and always knew the best local spots to find it, something his friends and family could always count on him for.  Jeremy will be remembered for his generous spirit, strong work ethic, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Lottie Trest, and James and Margaret Fountain.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Trest; sons, Ethan (Katelynn) Trest of Leakesville, Corbin (Phebe) Trest of Lucedale, and Liam Trest of Leakesville; grandchildren, Luna Trest, Ella Trest, and Aemon Trest; parents, William "Chief" and Theresa "Tootsie" Trest of Neely; brother, William Carl "Man" (Nichole) Trest III of Lucedale; sister, Lora Lynn (Blanchard) Wilson of Mobile, AL; and nieces and nephews, William Carl Trest IV, Logan Trest, Allie Turner, Brennan Taylor, and Cierra Wilson.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Neely Baptist Church.
